Album

Dieses Album entstand über einen Zeitraum von 3 Jahren und hat nun, Ende 2025, endlich das Licht der Welt erblickt. Es beschreibt mein Erleben dieser Lebensreise, was ich glaube, was ich hoffe, und, dass ich mir von Herzen wünsche, dass auch du Hoffnung in diesen Liedern finden kannst. Hoffnung, wo Hoffnung vielleicht schon verloren war, aber Du bemerkst, da regt siche etwas in deinem Herzen. Mögen die Texte Worte finden, wo diese fehlen und Nachklang geben, wo wir mit der Seele nicht hinterherkommen.

Die erste Single des Albums "Seek First" st bereits online verfügbar. Weitere Single-Releases folgen bis Frühjahr 2026. CD und Vinyl gibt es ab Mitte Dezember 2025 hier auf meiner Seite im Webshop.

4. For Your Cause

Things around me try to influence me

Patterns of distraction try to stick inside of my head

The world we live in gravitates towards destruction

But I take a stand: you‘re my standard

I need your grace to expose those thoughts

Take it all and make it yours

Help me to see you in the midst of the storm

Help me to seek you even when my heart is torn

I lay my thoughts under your authority

Come, lord, oh come with clarity

Holy spirit, take away what‘s not yours

Awake my spirit for your cause

I‘m in need of you to clarify what to do

My heart is full of energy to bring all my praise to you

Let nothing hold me back keep me on the track

And if I mess it up you‘ll help me stand again

5. Seek first

I should walk by faith

By faith and not by sight

But I don‘t know what to do

But my eyes are on you

I‘ll seek you first in the highest highs

I‘ll seek you first in the lowest lows

It‘s by your grace that I am who I am

That I have what I have, I’ll seek you first

If I acknowledge you in all of my ways

You‘re gonna make my path straight

No matter where I am, whatever I‘ve been through

It‘s never too late to rely on you

To you be the glory

6. Set upon Jesus

Those who are weary

Weary of tears, weary of pain

Come to the fountain

He‘ll meet your deepest needs

Those who need comfort

From what you‘ve been going through

Let the mighty one do his work in you

Let your eyes be set upon Jesus

Who‘s been with you all the time

Ev‘ry tear you cried he shared with you

7. Hungry

8. Prisoners

If nobody, nobody believes you

And though you move there comes no shadow

Seems like the world is passing by

Down in that room with no space, no time but a million goodbyes

Let me be the one to tell you

Jesus, he breaks ev‘ry chain

He has gone through all this pain

He‘s the one to even bring an inner change

If you only open up the door when he‘s asking to come in.

We have all been prisoners

And we all need to be delivered

We all need a savior, we all need to be forgiven

We can all be conquerors

For the One who‘s gone before us

He rose the third day

as he conquered death and the evil one

Wherever your journey may take you

Every step he‘s gone before you

Jesus was tempted in ev‘ry way that we are

He‘s used to handle despair

9. We Walk Together

Walking through highs and lows

Sometimes your strolling

sometimes just stumbling

Take a look beside our inner self

And you will see you‘re not alone

We walk together we raise a hope

We fight a battle bringing salvation to those who seek

Oh to the poor and to the lost

He who is with us, Jesus, he paid ev‘ry cost

Trials they come and go

Always keep your eyes on him, ev‘ry knee will bow to him

Though you know the shepard he will guide

You‘re in need of others to be by your side

We were born to overcome

10. Shake These Bones

Deep in my heart there‘s a fire

Burns full of love and desire

Life tries to smother the flames

But nothing is able to

Shake these bones with your fire

Tear down the walls

that were meant to be unbreakable

Shake this heart with your love

And burn it all down (till there‘s nothing left but you)

Your beautiful presence near

It draws me down on my knees again

I‘m holding nothing back

I surrender all to you

Down with sadness

Down with what’s not of you

I proclaim freedom to follow your ways

But You call us out to praise even in our sufferings

When life is not what we expect at all
